Xenocide - “Doorway to the Departed”
Xenocide is a progressive death metal band here in Richmond, and members include the Mike Edwards, vocalist for Bearstorm, Brian Edmonds, guitarist for Man Takes the Sky, and Tony Smith, drummer and recent Berklee graduate. Mike Curtis rounds out the rest as another guitarist.
Xenocide has finished some recordings and has posted a couple on their reverbnation site. Usually bands without a bass get some extra scrutiny on Sounds of RVA, but these guys are doing pretty well without one.
